Beehive Out of School Club

We are an independent club, set within the school and have a very close working relationship with all school staff. We are registered with Ofsted and provide places for up to 24 children, with a 1:8 staff/child ratio. All staff are CRB checked, First Aiders and hold relevant childcare qualifications. We have our own classroom and use of the school playground/field.

We had our last Ofsted inspection in January 2011, this was an excellent report achieving good in all areas. The inspector was particularly impresses with the creative activities provided and the environment of the club.

Our opening hours are term-time only:

Breakfast 07.50hrs-08.50hrs £3.50 (includes breakfast)

AfterSchool 15.30hrs-17.30hrs £3.00 per hour 

We are often told that a contributing factor when choosing their child’s school, was indeed the fact that Flitwick Lower School has the Beehive Out Of School Club. I am sure that with both the dedication of Beehive staff and the support we receive from school, we will continue to grow and provide the excellent childcare that ‘Beehive’ and Flitwick Lower School have become respected for.
